I expected this movie to be kind of lame and redundant but I was pleasantly surprised.
Liam Neeson plays a burnt out alcoholic U.S. Air Marshal who has just about given up on life. But then he boards a plane headed to London and starts receiving text messages from someone who threatens to kill one passenger every twenty minutes until he has $150 million transferred to a special bank account.
The story is very well written and the suspense is… non-stop. This is the kind of role that really suits Liam Neeson.
Julianne Moore also stars as a very concerned passenger. Her character made me wonder why she cared so much about helping to diffuse the situation.
Of course, the big surprise is towards the end when the terrorist finally reveals himself. I won’t spoil it but I will say that it’s not who you think it is.
If you like movies with a ton of suspense that keep you guessing then I highly recommend watching Non-Stop.
