Last Days In The Desert Movie Review

An imagined chapter from Jesus’ forty days of fasting and praying in the desert. On his way out of the wilderness, Jesus struggles with the Devil over the fate of a family in crisis.
I knew very little about this movie before watching it but I found it to be quite intriguing. Ewan McGregor definitely gives a great performance as both Jesus and the “Devil.”
The story itself adds nothing new to the life story of Jesus but it does offer up a very interesting character study. There are also a lot of very philosophical scenes that may or may not appeal to everyone. I just so happen to be a philosophy buff so I actually consider said scenes to be the best parts of the movie.
If you like movies that are philosophical, slightly artsy, and pretty profound then I highly recommend watching Last Days In The Desert.
On a scale of 1 tamale to 10 tamales I give it 8 tamales! 😎
