Nerdland Movie Review

A struggling actor (Paul Rudd) and his screenwriting roommate (Patton Oswalt) embark on an attention-grabbing journey through Los Angeles to become famous.
I came across the trailer for Nerdland a week ago and decided that it seemed funny enough to rent. Boy, was I right!
Not only is it funny but it’s also pretty weird. The kind of weird that borders on genius.
Make no mistake… this animated movie is NOT for the eyes of children. I repeat… it’s NOT FOR THE EYES OF CHILDREN!
Though, I’m pretty sure a large percentage of kids have already seen this movie.
If you like hilariously weird animated movies then you might enjoy watching Nerdland.

The Confirmation Movie Review

‚ÄčA divorced father and his eight-year-old son, spend a rather predictable weekend together, but when a valuable toolbox gets stolen, the search for the thieves will turn into a true family bonding.
I took a chance on this movie and I’m glad I did.
The Confirmation is a realistic depiction of how difficult it can be to repair a strained father/son relationship. But it also shows just how important such a relationship can be.
Clive Owen and Jaeden Lieberher give excellent performances and are very believable as father and son.
If you like movies with well developed characters then I highly recommend watching The Confirmation.
